completed by 11.45 called for interview by 12.45 pm Was tensed Opened the door
Saw 4 men a b c & d
Me-May i come in sir with a smiling face
abcd togthr come in jeeva (All smiling)
Me-Good afternoon sirs .
They also greeted the same . They asked to take my seet. I
sat.
B-You are from kollam right ??
Me- yes sir
B-Tell me about your father and mother
Me-Tht time i got tensed but still i maintained smile and
said abt my family like their job and all then they asked abt in detail,My mom
runs a fashion designing institn
B- Oh fashion designing again smiling
B-Dont have any brother or sis??
Me -No sir i'm single child
B-Oh really and laughed
ABCD-what is your ibps marks??
Me-Its 66 sir
B-Suddenly asked what is DMRC
Me-Tensed And i said i actually have heared abt it but at
this time i dont remember,Then
B-No problem dont worry,Its not reagrding banking now they
are in kerala,now do you remember? smiling
B-Yes jeeva smiling Now i got relaxed all where still
smiling they made me comfortble
Now C-looking at my marksheets smiling and saying so jeeva you
have very good marks in engineering 74.62% almost close to distinction That is
really good.
I said thank you sir Then
B-Why banking ??
Me-Sir,I could have chosen IT carreer as a computer science
engineering graduate but the jobs are not secure any more,But banking carreer
is having a stable growth and it is secure and respectful
A-Then will u leave banking and join infosys if it gets
nationalisd??
Me-No sir,I will not If tht is the case then i would have
tried for this IT job in this last 6 months .
A-Ok jeeva I understand u had
dedicated your 6 months after you pass out days for the preprtn for banking job
A,Band C-So u have gone for coaching right,where at kollam
itself ??
Me-yes sir i had six months coaching
C-Ok jeeva where did this bank get income from ??
Me-I said sir from the interest,rents it get from facilities
like locker facility,then charges on cheques and DD's C was ok with the answer
C-ok your first preference for IDBI ??Ok what is actually
this industrial banks??
Me-Sir they are some specialised banks for providing credit
for large sacle industires ..
C- why jeeva they give credit for industries ..
Me-for developmnt of industies for their modernisation ,To
buy new genrt n machines for increasing their productivty C was smiling and
said ok
D -What is service charge jeeva ??
A and B-jeeva regarding banking ok
Me-I said ok sir I think its the charges that is levied on
services like cheques and DD's for example
D-Said ok and smiled
C-Jeeva this incomes to bank are of two types like charges
and what else ?? he said charges and and for some time ..
Me -smiled and said sorry sir i dunno
C-Then he said its commission ok and smiled
A-Have you heared about negotiable instruments ??
Me-I said yes sir ,It is a document guarenteeying payment of
specific amount of money examples like dd and cheques
A-He asked are you sure ?? I said yes sir i read like that
A-Smiling and asked where did u get that information
from??From your coaching institute?? and laughed
Me-No sir i read from wikipidea
ABCD-All started laughing loudly
B-Ok jeeva you may leave now (All with smiling face )
Me-I stood up for thanking them
B-Suddenly Sit one more question
Me- again sat down
B-With smiling face asked who designed this dress jeeva Is
that your mother?? I was like what ??
Me-Laughing and said yes sir it is my mother ABC and D all
started laughing
B-It is a wonderful dress i like it very much
B-Here is your choclate take it
Me-smiling and took it and thanked them They all where still
smiling
