Before apply for the post you must ensure that you are registered at employment office at Uttarakhand. 
Age limit for applying for the post:
Uttarakhand State Government Job 2014For the Post whose requirement is Intermediate or equivalent, the minimum age is 18 and Maximim is 40. Age limit as on 1 January 2014. There is a provision for age relaxation also for SC/ST/OBC, PH , Ex-Army. For Graduation and Post Graduation minimum qualification is 21 and maximum is 40.

List of Highest Award for Bravery in India with brief descriptionParam Vir Chakra: The Param Vir Chakra is India's highest military award for the highest degree of bravery or self-sacrifice in the presence of the enemy on land,sea or air. It can be, and often has been, awarded after death.
This award was established on 26 January 1950 (the date of India becoming a republic), by the President of India, with effect from 15 August 1947 (the date of Indian independence).

Mahavir Chakra: The Maha Vir Chakra is the second highest military award in India and  is awarded for acts of conspicuous gallantry in the presence of the enemy, whether on land, at sea or in the air.

Vir Chakra: Vir Chakra is an Indian gallantry award presented for acts of bravery in the battlefield. It is third in precedence in the war time gallantry awards and comes after the Param Vir Chakra and Maha Vir Chakra.

Difference between Nationalised Bank and Public Sector Banks

Nationlised Bank: Nationalization was a process whereby govt of india took over the private banks into public ownership by an Act or ordinance. 19 banks have been nationalized so far. 

PublicSector Bank: (PSBs) in India are banks where a majority stake (i.e. more than 50%) is held by a government. Thus all nationalized banks are psb's and as well as SBI ,SBI ASSOCIATE BANKS, Bhartiya Mahila Bank and IDBI bank are PSB.
Bhartiya Mahila Bank was created under Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh on 19 November 2013 to pay tribute to Mrs Indira Gandhi on her birthday.

• Name of Central Bank of India: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) RBI
• Reserve Bank of India Act passed in 1934.
• Reserve Bank of India (RBI) established on 1 April 1935.
• Reserve Bank of India (RBI) established on the recommendation of Hilton-Young Commission.
• Hilton-Young Commission submitted its report in the year 1926.
• Initially RBI was constructed as a Private Share holders’ bank with fully paid-up capital of Rs 5 Crores.
• RBI was nationalize in the year of 1st January,1949.
• RBI is a statutory body.
• RBI is the sole authority in India to issue Bank notes in India.
• RBI can issue currency notes as much as the country requires, provided it has to make a security deposit of Rs. 200 crores, out of which Rs. 115 crores must be in gold and Rs. 85 crores must be FOREX Reserves.

SSC CGLE 2013 Re-examination date for Tier-1 and Tier-2 Official Clarification

NOTICE regarding CGLE 2013 – Re-examination:

In respect of the information uploaded on the website earlier regarding re-examination of CGLE-2013 at Lucknow, Patna, Allahabad, Delhi, Jaipur, Shimla and Dehradun, the Commission has decided to hold the re-examination of Combined Graduate Level (Tier-I) Examination, 2013 on 27.04.2014 (FN & AN).
The Commission has already clarified that candidates who appeared in Tier-I and Tier-II from a centre other than those mentioned above in CGLE 2013 will not have to appear in re-examination. However, those candidates who appeared in tier-I from centres other than those mentioned above BUT appeared for Tier-II from the centres mentioned above will have to appear in re-examination in Tier-II.
